These scales are part of my From the Workbench Collection—a series of one-off sets created while exploring new materials, patterns, and machining techniques.

🔷 About This Set
Pattern: Fiesta by Mikie
Material: G-Carta (by G.L. Hansen & Sons)
Fitment: Knafs Lander 1
This set highlights the natural layering and depth that makes G-Carta such an incredible material. Each cut reveals something different—and this one turned out too good not to share.
(Note - some of the scales were oiled with food grade mineral oil to be used in other pictures)
⚙️ How They’re Made
Each set goes through a hands-on process in my Utah shop:
- Material is carefully selected and oriented for best visual outcome
- Layout is precision-marked using laser-guided positioning
- CNC machined for accurate fit and clean geometry
- Hand-finished to bring out color, depth, and texture
- Matched as a left/right set
No mass production—just focused, small-batch craftsmanship.
