📦 Returns & Exchanges Policy

Returns

We want you to be confident in your purchase from Mountain Path Design.

For standard, non-custom items, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition
  • Original packaging must be included
  • Item must not show signs of carry, installation, or modification

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Custom & Engraved Products

Because many of our products are made-to-order or customized (including laser engraving, epoxy fills, and scale modifications), custom items are final sale.

This includes:

  • Custom engraved scales
  • Epoxy-filled designs
  • Modified knife configurations
  • Special-order builds

If there is an issue with craftsmanship or an error on our part, please contact us — we stand behind our work.

Knife Bundles & Installed Scales

If purchasing a knife + installed custom scales bundle:

  • The knife itself may be eligible for return only if unused
  • Custom scales are non-refundable
  • Any installed customization voids standard return eligibility unless defective

Digital Products

Digital downloads (STL files, PDFs, etc.) are non-refundable once downloaded.

If you experience a technical issue with files, please reach out and we will assist you.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 5 days of delivery
  • Include photos of the packaging and product

We will make it right.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
