If the Lander line was our Apollo mission, the O.C.T. is our Space Shuttle program: compact, capable, and built to launch the next generation of makers and adventurers.
Designed in-house by Matt Fitzgerald and mentored by Ben, the O.C.T. was born during late-night sessions at Utah State University. What started as cardboard prototypes and a challenge to “give it the old college try” turned into two full prototyping rounds, countless ergonomic refinements, and a commitment to building a small knife that still feels secure in hand.
The result? A compact, fidget-friendly button lock that feels bigger than it looks.
Built in collaboration with Bestech — masters of button lock precision — the O.C.T. delivers crisp deployment, smooth ceramic bearing action, and satisfying lockup.
Every detail tells a story. The button texture draws inspiration from the iconic Old Main building at Utah State. The deep-carry reversible clip keeps it discreet in pocket. The integrated lanyard hole is ready for your favorite booster bead.
