The Little Lulu is the first knife manufactured in-house by Knafs — the result of years of design, iteration, and finally committing to American production.
Compact, capable, and purpose-driven, the Little Lulu represents a major step forward: building a knife from raw steel through final assembly using dedicated equipment and hands-on process development.
With a 1.9" CPM MagnaCut blade and rugged micarta scales, this small fixed blade is built for everyday utility, field carry, and real-world adventure.
Born in Utah. Named after the rugged Lulu Pass in Montana.
🔪 Built for Real Use
The Little Lulu was designed to hit a very specific sweet spot:
- Compact enough for everyday carry
- Large enough to perform meaningful tasks
- Tough enough for field use
- Refined enough for precision work
It excels at:

It’s not a large bushcraft blade — and it’s not meant to be.

🏭 Development & Collaboration
Mountain Path Design played an instrumental role in helping bring the Little Lulu into production.
Early prototypes and the first production batches were manufactured at Mountain Path Design using a CNC mill purchased by Knafs specifically for this project. Together, we developed machining strategies, refined tolerances, and established the production workflow that made in-house manufacturing possible.
As Knafs secured their own dedicated space and equipment, production transitioned fully to their facility. The foundation, however, was built through collaboration and hands-on manufacturing development.
Mountain Path Design continues to manufacture precision knife components for other companies, applying the same machining discipline and production experience developed during this program.
🛠 Manufacturing
The Little Lulu is labeled:
Made in USA of Domestic and Foreign Parts
Steel is milled, ground, stonewashed, laser engraved, assembled, and sharpened in the United States. Heat treatment is performed domestically. Due to FTC standards regarding “all or virtually all” domestic sourcing, certain globally sourced components require the qualified claim.
Every part of this knife has been intentionally sourced and traced.
This is not anonymous mass production — it is deliberate manufacturing.
🧪 CPM MagnaCut Steel
CPM MagnaCut is widely regarded as one of the most balanced stainless knife steels available today.

This version features Armor Black Cerakote, adding enhanced corrosion resistance and surface durability while maintaining a clean, understated aesthetic suited for field or daily carry.
