From the Workbench – Knafs Lander 1 Scales – MPD Logo & Abbreviation (Paint Fill Test)

Pulled straight from the bench.

This set of Knafs Lander 1 scales features the Mountain Path Design logo on one side and the “MPD” abbreviation on the other, laser engraved into blue G10 and filled using a syringe-applied white paint method.

This piece was created during process testing as we explored alternatives to epoxy fill. The goal was to develop a cleaner fill technique that would eliminate the need for post-fill sanding and reduce production time while maintaining strong contrast.

The result is a bold, high-visibility logo with a slightly different surface character compared to epoxy-filled versions. It represents an early stage in refining our engraving and fill workflow.

This is a development piece from our paint-fill testing phase and will not be reproduced in this exact configuration.
